The Menton Lemon Festival (Fête du Citron) is my favorite festival in the French Riviera! It is usually held during the last two weeks of February and attracts visitors from all over the world. Citrus fruits are in season in the winter in the South of France, so it’s the perfect time to visit this citrusy town.

Most of the trips my husband and I take within Europe are only a few days long, so we opt to pack in carryons 99 percent of the time.
